Thats a good idea but its hard working up the courage to sell you truck and buy a new one just so you can lift it haha.
Really Reider is right though many more options for the 4x4 with most mods

Heres some motivation to keep and lift your 2WD. I put a complete 3.5 inch spindle suspension lift kit in it. I now have 4 new shocks, 2 new coil springs, new tires and a steering stabilizer. I replaced the pads, rotors and link pins while I was in there. I now have alot more clearance and traction through the snow, which was exactly what I was looking for out of my 2WD. I would seriously use 4WD about 5 times a year as my truck is my daily driver so its just not worth having a 4WD to me. Sounds like you are looking for a bit more clearance and some bigger tires to get you through some junk so just do a proper lift and be done with it and you will be happy. I did it all at once and the truck drives and feels like new. If I "pieced" my truck together I would still be replacing parts now and for months to come.

Anyways good luck and keep us posted.... im sure it will turn out great with either way you choose to go at it

Thanks.

why would you still be putting it together for months to come? no need to be a smart a$$, all i was simply trying to say, if you read the whole post, is that there is many ways to lift a vehicle and you dont have to throw down 5-600 bones for a freakin 3.5 inch lift. imo its a waste of money. once i get my spacers and add a leaf for my truck and add it to the body lift, i will have 6 inches of lift and be able to clear 37s with minor trimming if i want to, all for about 200 bucks less than what you paid for and out of the box 3.5 inch lift that made your 2wd look like my truck did before i lifted it. we can all be smart a$$'$, but some people need to read the whole post and take things with a grain of salt and not just run their mouth. you will notice that in most of my posts, i say in my opinion, or my 2 cents, i wont rip on anyone if they dont run their mouth, and if im wrong on something, i will come back and say so, as i did when recommending some spacers for this man that wouldnt fit a 2wd.

and btw when i say piecing it together, that doesnt mean buying one thing at a time and putting one piece of lift on at a time, it means doing a little research, finding the stuff you need, and ordering it all at once.
well anyway, now you know how i feel.

Not trying to be a what was it.... a smart a$$.... just giving my own .2 cents on what I did as an example for any people looking to lift a 2WD.
