Default Tranny Problem?

Been a while since ive been on (had some computer problems) and since my last post ive started having trouble with my tranny. When accelerating it wants to slip when trying to shift up in to the next gear. Ive checked the fluid level. Its fine. The reason i havent taken it into the dealer is that it doesnt always do it. It will slip sometimes several shifts in a row and then quit. Later that day or the next it will do it again. I dont know alot about trannys so has anyone else had this problem or heard of anything? The truck is an 08 1500 4x4 with the 4.7 and auto about 56k miles. THANKS!!!

You should take it to the dealer and at least get the complaint documented, that way if the trans fails completely and you're out of warranty, the repair should be covered.

I would also agree that you should get it to the dealer asap since you have a warrenty. I had some issues with my trans a few months ago and since i dont have a warrenty i threw in a bottle of lube guard. It seems to be helping at least for the time being. Good Luck
