BULLRAM will become famous soon enough
Default For those lifting a 2wd 09

Here is what I have found on my 09/CC/5.7/2WD
1.5 inch daystars will bring up the front but will NOT level out mine, it is still off, the ride is still great, the front end will need a small tweak ,the tires will be in a little, control arms cant be seen from the front
2.0 inch Daystars will bring it up more but still off by 1/2 inch to be level
the ride is different, a Little more bouncy, you WILL need a front end alignment
and new front shocks, unless you use the spacing up the shock method,I dont recommend that
2.5 inch daystars PERFECT for me, sits level, and the ride is still not harsh, BUT ,I do feel it,you have to get under the front to see the control arms down a little, and Will need an alignment.and of course new shocks
4 inch CST spindles for the 08 work (I HAVE THESE)http://www.cstsuspension.com/product.../productID/468
3 inch air bag it spindles work also, cheaper http://www.airbagit.com/product-p/x2-spi-dod-06.htm
you can buy some new brake lines or use the old ones by switching the right to left and vice-versa,flipping the mount upside down

its funny I had to tell alot of these companies when I first started that they would fit, but I know it was new.

You can install a body lift which looks really good, but at first they wernt shipping the right spacer to the people, they were dropped in the front, now they come with a 2 inch spacer for the front http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/PER60203.html

The rear on our trucks is the same as the 4WD, just not the strong springs, I am using the rear kit from CST,it includes a drop bracket for the trailing arm,and the spacers for the springs
You could use the rest kit from Superlift ,or others but that would be overkill, in my opinion, unless you are raising it up 6 inches or more
To me it all comes down to what do you want it to ride like and look, I have not put on my spindles yet ,i am waiting for my rear kit to come in.
Here are some options I have found

Yes the pictures I have are the stock ,and then the 1.5's, the pictures of the 2.0 inch are lost, but i am taking some of the 2.5's installed, after this the spindles go on and then the rear kit also. I wanted the best ride and height.
As you can see the 1.5's on the HEMI Crew dont raise it up very far, 2.5's will be perfect. If you have spindles and dont mind losing some of the lift, you can put 4 inch spindles on the front, with no spacers and put a one inch spacer in the back, it will level it out and then raise it an inch.\
these trucks to me have VERY soft springs in the front, what i mean is when you park in different spots it looks like there is almost no lift, then other times it looks almost level. and this is on the slightest dip in the pavement, third picture is at another location, look at the lift difference

Why do the shocks need to be changed when installing a leveling kit in the front?

You dont need to change them if you are going up to 2 inches ,any more and the shocks will still bolt up but the amount of drop (meaning the amount the wheel will fall down if held up in the air ), will be a lot less , so when you hit a bump, or a spot on the road that dips the front end down when it comes back up you will feel and hear the shocks going past there maximum extension, they will bang,it is not good at all on the shocks, extended shocks usually are about 2/3 inches longer on full extension, so that makes it so the shock will be able to travel to the most it can,and still limit the wheels travel.

I nstalled the 6 inch CST lift, all went great, the clearence is crazy, the measurements from the top of the 33 tire to the fender lip is 11 inches, I need bigger tires, but for now the 33 inch stockers, are all I have, I love the look, the ride is fantastic, a little firm but not harsh, no jarring, no pot hole drops, nothing hangs down in the front at all.
need 35's now. thank you for looking

WHOA!! Thanks for the info and the pictures. You will definately benefit from some bigger tires in the future as far as looks go, but man that truck looks tall now!

When you have a chance, go to the USER CP and enter your truck's details that way we all know what truck you have.
