Default Front end noise

Hey guys,

I have a problem with something in the front end of my 2004 1500 ram lonestar edition. When I hit my brakes I get a bumping noise and I can even feel it sometimes, either thru the steering wheel or the brake pedal.. I read that it could be a lose shock or the ball joint. It doesn't do it all the time but I'm wondering if antyone has had an issue like this. I'm going to put her up on jack stands and check it out later today but would like any input.. Also what kind/brand of shocks does anyone recommend?? new upgrade on brakes is going to be carbon fiber pads and some really good slotted disc..

Oh yeah, it is a hemi!! :-)

Thanks

Could be something in the steering , suspension or even the brakes (warped rotor) .
