Default Vp ms109 race fuel in my ram hemi!!

Ran VP MS109 unleaded race fuel in my 2009 RAM HEMI and I have to say it woke up the engine considerably.

NOTE: I am using the Diablo sport predator 93oct. tune. I also went in and advanced the timing and the WOT Fuel.
To make a long story short, I felt a very good increase in power.

Anyone with a diablo tuner should try this atleast once. Just wanted to share this with everyone.
Thanks

Now I might have to get the Trinity to check for Knock!

Id say 5hp MAX on a dyno w/ increased octane and severe timing increases.

Please dont waste your money again. I think what you felt was the wonderful smell that went into your noise, and received by your brain thinking you were driving a race car.

Dont take offense, but you wont see a real noticeable increase in power. Maybe slightly better drivability, but I dont think you could advance the timing enough to see a nice gain from that high of octane. Our trucks cant even THINK about utilizing that high of octane and its a TOTAL waste. 109 octane is used for 14:1 race motors.

That is good to know man, I just think its a little crazy haha. Crazy is always good though!!! I use 110oct in my race car and I love that smell. There is no greater smell then high octane fuel!

Nice go at it but ya i have to agree there are many other things you can do for power...instead of paying for high octane fuel...these will most likely give you alot better results do!! but good on you for trying it out
