Default Passenger Door Wind Noise?

My 04 Ram has wind noise coming from the passenger door at interstate speeds. You can't hear it from the driver side but my wife noticed it the other day. Is this a common thing? The truck has never been wrecked as far as I know or can tell and I used to do body work and I'm pretty good at finding flaws. If this is common is there a common fix? I don't see anything out of place or worn/torn weather stripping. It's a small problem but a problem just the same. Any help would be appreciated.

That's a puzzler because, as you know, the usual causes of this are a torn or folded over seal, a dried out seal (which means it has compressed and is not sealing to the frame anymore) or some body gap at the door necessitating a hinge adjustment.

Maybe it's just the mirror???

Check your wheel well guards as well. A rivet or screw might be loose or gone and you have a gap there.

I always found the Ram to produce lots of wind noise at higher speeds. I have (had) sport mirrors on my '03 Ram 1500 Hemi and those mirrors were loud as hell on speeds over 100km/h. Funny how my '08 Ram 3500 Cummins doesn't produce a lot of wind noise despite having massive tow mirrors. If everything looks to be all right I think that's just something you'd have to live with.

Yes this is very common, I had a 2008 Quad cab 1500 and it is caused by the door design. There are a few solutions, replace door seal, have top of door bent in by body shop, adjust door latch.

Mine makes noise at high speeds through the driver side door. I think it is a common problem iun the rams. It could be the heavy door maybe offsetting itself when it opens often. Might move away a little bit from the way it was from the factory.

Could also be the weather striping might have a hole or something. I know when I had an '04 Ram the door always caught the weather stripping and tore it

i've been googling again
with the door noises, everyone seems to say that the top of the door looks like a shark fin, not inline with the truck cab body, others say that the door seal used by Chrysler could have been better & many go to a body shop for a new seal & get the hinge & striker plate checked at the same time

Try putting masking tape over the door gaps and driving at highway speed and see if the noise is eliminated. If you have fold away mirrors you can do the same thing with the gaps in them.
