Default Torque converter..which one and where?

Hey guys,
Looking to get all the parts I need for the 360 swap. Where can I get a decent deal on a torque converter for a 360? Are the ones that advance auto parts pretty good? Also, do I need a lock up torque converter? This is my first auto, and I am clueless about auto transmissions. Any help would be great, or if you could point me in the direction of a decent torque converter for a decent price that would be good. The truck is stock, but I am going to put a set of header, CAI, and possibly a mild cam in the future. I will be running 33x12.50 tires on it. Thanks in advance.

Yes you will need a lock up convertor . Try going to your local trans shop and purchasing a rebuilt one from them . I believe the one thats in mine is made rebulit by Daaco . Also when you do the swap make sure you install the torque convertor correctly . Sounds like this is your first encounter doing something like this .

I have had the engine out of my truck before, but have never dealt with an auto. Is there a link to install the torque converter correctly?

also, since I will be doing some towing with this thing, it would be better to have a lower stahl on the torque converter right? I know I have a lot of questions on this stuff, but this is actually the first auto that I have ever dealth with, so I am a bit clueless about the trans.
