Default Front Driveshaft

as of right now my front driveshaft on my 04 hemi 4x4 is screwed...its been grinding for awhile now, and has gotten to the point where i need to do something about it right now. is there anyway i can remove my front driveshaft and still be able to drive my truck around?

I am fairly certain that wouldn't be a problem, but you would have to plug up the transfer case so you don't get dirt and crap in it. I have heard of it being done before though. Have you figured out why it is grinding at all? Might just be a cheap fix, then you wouldn't have to worry too much about it.

a couple months back the boot came off and it must of got a bunch of dirt in the bearing
