Default Kicker comp vr's or jl w1's?

ok i drive a 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. i currently have the kicker comp vr 12's. i am wondering if i should put the kickers in the sub box that goes under the seat, or get some jl w1's and put them in the box under the seat? should i get jl 12's or 10's or should i just stick with the kicker comp vr's and put them in the box under the seats?

The Kickers tend to sound better in ported enclosures.

I think you should stick with the comp VRs they do sound good in an enclosed box. I had the 2 10s under the seat of my ram also. I think if you downgraded to 10s it would be better under the rear seat. I think that 12s with a lot of power will use up all that air and start blowing eachother up. I say that becasue I had 2 10"s VRs and had 600watts going to each of them. I blew them twice, thats just my $.02

JL over kicker any day! period! I've got a 12" JL w1 behind my seat in a single cab. The kickers might be louder but the JL will definitely have a better (crisper, cleaner) sound.

Well I switched over to the Kicker L7. I love kicker since i listen to rap and hip-hop. Kicker has more stong bass JL has cleaner bass. I always liked it when my brain is shaking un my head haha

Really it depends on what you want cause the 2 companies are both really good! If you want clean go with JL if you want a lot go with Kicker.
