Default Anybody Tried The New Kelly Springfield TSR Tires????

They look like a very aggressive all terrain and are half the price of Toyo's and about $300 cheaper than the Nitto Trail Grapplers I was looking at. They are made by Goodyear and I've always had good luck with Goodyear tires in the past. The only things I dont like are the 315/70/17 only come with a two ply sidewall and are D rated. I don't really tow anything though so a D rated tire should be fine right? Anyway here's a link and they look pretty good in person and have some sidewall tread which I like just wonder how good they balance out and how long they'll last on a heavy truck.

I run the Kelly Safari Trex (D) and my dad runs (E). We both love them so far, got them late summer. D rating is a higher rated tire and if you don't tow, I think, you will be fine

I've seen the Goodyears . They look great , but I'd venture to say you'll pay a pretty penny for them . Besides I'm not a big fan of Goodyear anyway .

Ya I just read a bunch of reviews on the goodyears and it's seems like people with jeeps love them and people with big trucks say they work great but don't last very long. I kinda worried that 35's are going to rub with my aftermarket wheels so I'm thinking maybe 305/70/17's might be a better fit which is a 34x12x17 and I think I'm going to try out the Nitto Dune Grappler. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...0&rd=17&cs=305 Their resonably priced with a 3 ply sidewall and E rated plus all I drive on is pavement, gravel roads and sand so they might actually be perfect. They also look pretty cool and the only real complaints I can find are people saying they don't do good in mud but if they bought them for mud then their pretty much a dumbass anyway lol.

Never mind I'm not going to chance trying some other tire I'm going to stick with my original plan of the Toyo M/T's. They are a little spendy but les schwab has them on sale right now so their within a few hundred bucks of the Nitto tires. I'm getting them in 285x75x17 which comes out to 34.1x11.6x17 so they should fit nice and I wont have to worry about then rubbing which is why I wanna stay away from 12.50 tires. I wish they made them in the 305x70 because that would be more like 34x12 but I think these will end up nice. They will have them in tomorrow but my level kit and bilstein shocks wont be here till next week.
