Default Backup camera, connecting to "Reverse"

I purchased a Jensen H.U. that has a backup camera input. The RCA type video input needs no explaination however there is a GREEN wire on the back of the head unit that is labeled "REVERSE". I'm assuming that this is a trigger wire that will change the display screen to the camera mode when shifting into reverse. Can anyone tell me the best location to tap into the reverse signal?? I know that I could tap into the backup light but I'm looking for a location up front near the head unit.
