I would suggest using NGK spark plugs. They make some good plugs. Maybe look at the Laser Iridium plugs, they are the best quality they have :http://www.ngksparkplugs.ca/products...-iridiumix.cfm

What's on the PCV is coming from the crankcase, separate from the intake. For the $3 is takes to replace it, I wouldn't take a chance on it.

I just put the new E3 plugs in my 03 with a 4.7. I haven't put a full tank through it yet but according to the overhead I picked up 2mpg that on the same road I run every day.

What would it hurt to run sea foam through it after installing new plugs?

I just read what I wrote, my mistake kind of a two question post poorly written. $3 to replace what the PCV valve? I did but it was more like 20 dolalrs, where do you get a PCV valve for 3 bucks?

Seafoam is a multi-use engine cleaner product. Check their website. It's full of good info. Should be able to get it at pretty much any local parts place.

I went with regular copper NGK plugs in my 2006 4.7 and it loves them. Surely if your local shop doesn't stock them they can get them in??

I ran the e3 plugs for the first time in my 05. I was very disappointed that I took them out within two weeks. I travel the same distance, same road every day. I say mileage go down, my power went down and I had a misfire once in a while.. SO I bought ngk iridiums, BUT a stage colder. Why did I do this? Well I work in a parts store and when wer had a couple ngk reps come down, we were told with anything performance the plugs should go colder for better fuel burn. Anyways.. they were right!! I put the plugs in, not only did I see but I felt the power! my gas mileage was better than ever and now months of having them in I have been satisfied! Hope this helps, if you want the part # just let me know. (my truck has an aem brute force intake, and muffler dual exhaust set up)

Default PCV Valve question 2006 4.7L

Gentlemen,
I was at AutoZone today and I requested a PCV
Valve for my 2006 4.7L. I did look under the hood
according to the service manual and it should be
located by the oil intake/fill tube. Well its not??
Back to the salesman for AZ. He said that my truck
Does not have one? Hmm... No Rocket Scientist here but
I did 16 years as a Crew Chief on a few different aircraft
as well as almost always do my own PM's on my own
equipment. Is he correct? Any help would greatly be
appreciated.

It should have one. The pressure has to vent somehow/somewhere. Look all over the valve covers it is there somewhere...
