With my old hemi 1500, i towed an 11,000 pound trailer every other weekend for my part time job. It squated all the way but the motor wasnt straining at all, i had 4.11 gears in it.

I pulled a portable log splitter. Weighs about 500lbs. Not much of a tow.

38 Fountain about 10 miles from marina to repair yard and back. I have the plow and camper springs and sway bar 8800# pkg. It was squating only a tad and stopped fine. The motor was grunting a bit. The boat alone is 10,500. Gas, batteries, trailer prolly illegal by a bit or so.

Just a small 8 ft enclose with a generator, compressor, and some auto paint here. I do have to pickup a car hauler to take my friends 240sx to get the ls1 installed then haul it to the tuners so we will see how that goes. Should be no problem I have hauled heavier loads with.my 02 trailblazer with the I6

I ordered mine specifically for heavy loads & towing -- my utility trailer weighs 1883 lbs. empty & I've carried a 7500 lb trackhoe on it. Also had a travel trailer weighing over 9300 lbs. & have made two 4000 mile round trips pulling another trailer that weighed somewhere around 6000. I've used the cruise control with the trailers & the speed has never varied more than 1 mph. And pictured below is the truck the day I picked up 5200 lbs. of concrete test cylinders! Never have been able to get the back end to sag -- but my 2500HD came with the same rear suspension my friend's 3500 Dually has.

I pull my 26' 5th wheel 7k LB., no problem except with the rear squatting. Air bags should help me with that.

Its not uncommon for me to tow 10,000 with my 1500. The backhoe and bobcat are a nice load in around there. My biggest problem is the shitty trailer not my truck.

This summer, I used my RAM 1500 to tow our Crossroads Slingshot GT32QB 2011 (32 feet) travel trailer 6600lbs loaded from Québec, Canada to Myrtle Beach, SC, USA with easy handling n breaking. I done a emergency break n esquive handling to don't hit a deer on the I81..... Perfect driving !!!
