Default New shocks

Ordered up some extended Ruff Country Nitro 9000 series nitrogen filled shocks. They shipped out today.
The Rough Country Nitro 9000 series shock absorbers incorporate self adjusting "Velocity Sensitive Valving". This revolutionary technology varies the resistance valving incorporated in the shock according to piston rod speed. This allows for a super smooth highway ride and outstanding control in rugged off road situations from the same shock, without turning any knobs or shock removal for re-adjustment.

Specifications
___• Performance Proven 10-Stage Variable Valving
___• 200 psi Nitrogen Charged
___• Massive 1 3/8" Bore
___• Chromed Hardened 9/16" Piston Rod
___• Spring Loaded Piston Rod Seal
___• Military Spec. Fluid Rated To –50 C
___• Poly-urethane bushings for long life
___• Limited Lifetime Warranty
___• White powder coat finish
___• Smooth Highway Ride/Firm Off-Road

Didn't get the boots I wanted because I was told that they trap in moisture and crap which rot out the seals. I heard it from a buddy who said his skyjacker went to crap because of that so I called 3 different shock sellers and that's what the all said. I wanted the red boots but was "professionally" advised not to.

http://www.roughcountry.com/shocks_rc9000.html Got them off ebay from topguncustomz $157 shipped

Will post pics when I get them, when I put them on and when I'm done.

Was able to get the fronts on. Only had a limited amount of time. There really is nothing to see except white shocks instead of red. They were maxed out so these ones do help. A little softer than before. The old ones had no more shaft to expand so bumps were bumpy. I still have 10" from wheel to fender on the pass and 9-3/4" on the driver side. Pass side has 4 threads left on the tbar bolt and the driver has 3 threads left. The side that is cranked more is lower and there is no gas in it whatsoever. I have pics but I will post them when I'm done.

I should have all my exhaust parts by the end of next week. Maybe within 2 weeks I'll get around to it.

Had to cut the studs off the fronts and the upper bolts on the rears. I was able to compress the old shocks with ease and they didn't spring out like they should have. It took like 30 secs for them to extend. The new ones well, no one told me not to cut the cable holding the shock closed. Luckily I only did it to the first one.
