Default Drone Elimination Pipe?

Has anyone had any experience with the Drone Elimination Pipe from Mufflex? I came across while browsing and thought it seemed gimmicky but am all ears...

From the description.... "It does not take away any horsepower and retains the tailpipe sound. This J pipe separates a sound wave that usually goes into the muffler and traps it in a chamber, causing it to cancel itself out. The DODJP kit is made from 409 Stainless Steel and includes the hardware to install it. There is no welding required. $165.00 + Shipping."

Thoughts?!?

they seem like a reputable manufacture. and for that price, hell just buy it and try it out. Then you can report back to everyone else and be a HERO! If it doesn't work. remove it and try to send it back. It only takes 5 minutes down the road to hear if it works or not.

This type of setup supposedly works, although I have not experienced it. You have to adjust the length of the pipe to tune out certain frequencies.

It seems you need one of the Mufflex kits to have this work. I just purchased a weld-in Maggy from Discount Auto Performance so I will unable to be the guinea pig. Curious to hear from someone who has it installed.
