The best simulated looking HID halogen bulb is the ZXE. I have them and they are better than stock and look great for appearance but do not shine the road like real HIDs.

Did you pull the sliding tab behind the headlight? You get to it threw the little door in the wheel well.

Can't get the bulb out or can't get the housing out? It this is the first time you've tried to take the housing off, it's probably just stuck on good. Give it a good tug/push and it should pop out.

I'm thinking my housings are just like his, and there is no sliding tab on the headlight housing, nor a little door on the wheel well. The only sliding tabs I know of are on the license plate housings.

That is the same as my housing. Jiggle it really good. Maybe pry, ever so lightly, on the plastic piece that attaches to the radiator housing. There is a guiding bump that the housing fits in to on the body. That's probably where it's sticking at.
