Default Did I make a good decision?

Just got done ordering my lift and tires for the project. I have a 2003 3500 QC Dually with a HEMI. I ordered the Superlift 6" kit with Bilsteins and 37" BFG A/T and the Superlift dual stabilizer kit. Now that its ordered im wondering if i made the right decision. My main concern is if the Hemi will be able to move all this without putting too much strain on her. I only drive 5 miles to work and rarely drive too far out of town. Any one got a setup like this or have insight as to how everything with work out if it will? Let me know, Matt.

Heres what she looks like now...

What is your differential gear ratio?

Are you changing out to a larger wheel too? If so, how much do they weigh? Any idea what the tire weight is?

I think it will look great but depending on your gear ratio, you may be looking at needing a change to a numerically higher set of gears. I have 3.73 gears and with my large wheels and tires, I have no problem.

There should be a tag on the rear diff cover that will tell you the gear set you have. Also, look for a sticker under your hood. It may be there as well.

Dunno if this helps, but my neighbor has a 08 3500 megacab dually w/ the 6.7. He lifted it 6 or 8", and has 38" nitto's on 22" "big rig wheels" (or whatever ya call em) and he pulls his 38' camper behind it like nothing, he never changed any gearing....

Damn, just read it was a Hemi, sorry.....

I think motor wise you are fine, the gearing should be close to what comes with the CTD I would think..

Just called the dealership. They checked the VIN and the gearing is 4.10 ... What does CTD mean?

Yer good...with 4.10's, you won't even notice the lift...until you step up into or down out of the cab...watch your step!
