Default Question about my spare tire

Hello, had a flat tire yesterday and had to put on the spare. The rim doesnt match the other 3 so I want to get another tire for the correct rim soon.
But for now I am using a P265/75R16 for the spare. The other 3 tires are P265/70R17.
The "fresh" spare tire is approx 30 1/2 inches tall while the other rear tire is 31 inches tall.
The spare replaced the driver side rear tire. But will using the slightly smaller sized spare tire hurt the rear end with 2 different sized tires being used? Or because it is limited slip it will be ok?
I plan on buying another tire to replace the spare in a week or two.

i can't see it hurting anything as long as its on the rear for a while, but, it don't think that i would run it on the front for more than a weekend, but, if Chrysler thought it would be a problem, they would NOT have put that size rim & tire for a spare

Are you sure that's what Chrysler put on it, or was it a leftover from a previous owner?

I cant say for sure, but there was a small sticker on the sidewall that said something to the effect of "dealer installed air pressure" on the tire.
I did not buy the truck new though.

I do not think that it will hurt it if it is on for a temporary amount of time. You should be good! I would just keep that tire man, you will only use it a few days at a time if you get a flat. I still have my same spare tire and I have 33" tires haha

If you are worried about just swap it to the front not the back because you do not want your rear tires spining at different speeds that is what will screw up your rear end I have 33s on and my spare is stock so if I get a flat on the back I have to put the spare on the front and move a front back
