Exclamation 1997 1500 4x4 5.9L Loss of Power

Hi, I have a 1997 Dodge pickup, and just recently I have had a major loss of power. It takes forever to get up to 50 mph, and stays around 2k-3k rpm unless I let off of the gas, then it will finally shift, but still be very doggy. I can tromp the gas and it will sound like i'm moving but it's barely climbing in speed.
It also has a hissing type sound like a vacuum leak or something while trying to climb in speed, but I can't tell where it is coming from because it doesn't do it when parked. About a week ago I had a mechanic shop replace my Water Pump, Thermostat, and Belt Tensioner, and now I have this problem.

Also, I have no warning, or check engine lights on.
(I made sure all spark plug wires were fastened.)
Any ideas would help a lot.

I do not have an answer for you either, but would suspect what the shop did, or maybe nicked a vacuum line somewhere???

Sounds like more than a simple small vacuum leak to me. I'd get it checked for any stored codes.
