Default how to reset trip odometer?

I push the button and turn it, but it reads what I assume is previous "trip" miles. is there a way to set it to zero?

Is is a digital readout? I'm not real familiar with the 98 Ram. On the newer truck you have to hold the button in for more than a second to get it to reset.

Boy, all them '98 and above Rams got all them new fan-dangled doo-hickies. Kinda used to my '97 with the good ole' push button and watch the numbers roll back onto themselves.

my fuel gauge is broke so it helps to see how many miles I have left in fuel. easier then doing the mileage/odom thingy.
