I dont think your being a baby at all, sounds like a messed up situation. I think some dealers do this more than some care to admit. Its not so much the mechanics as they need to drive most cars as Randy stated but its the managers and detailing folks that also drive them but with far less care. My girlfriends brother details at a dodge dealer and ive seen some of the people he works with and im glad I deal directly with a mechanic there, although they have been so busy he has no time anymore for under the table repairs like me.

You should have ripped that bedliner out and left it in their parking lot, thats an insult to your intelegance, installed it, test drove it to make sure it wouldnt catch your attention and tried to pass it off on you...no fu$king way man.

No way man, you are not being a baby. That was totally disrespectful and unacceptable. Reinforces my motto that the dealer will never touch my truck unless absolutely nessessary. Go get em and don't back down.

Dealership update!!!!

The dealership has finally satified my due bill, fixed the scrathes and refilled my gas tank. I have a new batch of issues with my truck. The DVD player was installed improperly by the dealership authorized installer. The battery has been replaced twice in the last two weeks. If the truck sits longer than 2 days the battery dies. The dealership took it back and of course the installer said it wasnt the DVD player. The dealership found a 3mv draw after searching for 2.5 weeks. Now they are saying it's the factory NAV head unit...so they will have my truck for 2 more days.

The truck is having extensive electrical issues (been in the shop 12 days still now resolution). and there isnt a panel on this truck that doesnt have a major paint defect.

What are my chances of getting Chrysler to buy this truck back if the new radio doesnt fix the issue?

Im not sure if they would or not. I would try. In your statement i would say that you bought a new truck so you wouldnt have problems......thus incorrect with the one you have. Also say with it getting fixed all the time with warrantty work its also costing Dodge/ Chrysler lots of money as well.It would be a easy fix on both parts if you ask me........

Sorry to hear about all your problems at the dealership. Best of luck on trying to get a new truck out of them. The only thing the dealerships that I have brought my truck to have ever done is turn off the radio, they have left everything else where it was. That and one of the dealerships tried to rip me off but thats a rant for another day, needless to say they will never see me or my truck again. Hope you get things resolved soon, it sucks to have a new truck and so many problems with it because of incompitent people.

Won't they give you a loaner truck? Not like it is of your doing that your trucks battery keeps dying.

doubt it, had to call chrysler to twist their arm just to get a mini van.

I gave them the VIN for the last 7 new chrysler vehicles I have owned since 2001 to PROVE I'm a loyal customer!!!

Well thats stupid! You bought a truck because you needed a truck, therefore they should give you a truck to use because they screwed yours up. Seems like common sense to me . . .
