Default Leveling kit options?

I have an 01 1500. I bought a 2" leveling kit, since that is whatI think most people run. The difference between wheel well heights was just over 2". Before install, I jacked the body up in the front so that the front wells went up 2". Now it looks like the front sits higher. 1.5" seems to be better. Will I not get a true 2" after install? I just dont want to go through the hassle of having to take them out after I put them in if the front will definately sit higher.

If it's only sitting 1/2" higher in front it's not going to be extrememly noticeable and a lot of people actually prefer that look almost like a baja truck type look lol. Is your's coil spring in the front or torsion bar??

Only if it is a 4x4 though. trust me, I have been down this road now, and if it is a 4x2, good luck.

2" seems to be the trend (I plan on getting a 2" aswell) and from the pictures I've seen i would say roll with the 2". I think it's going to be as close as your going to get.

Dang I almost opened up the application list too because I hate posting up wrong info but I was kinda in a hurry when I posted that lol. As for how much lift you need I thought mine was only going to need 1.5" in the front cause it looked like it was sitting higher than my cousins 1500 in the front so I took a tape measure and measured from the top of my tire to the fender both front and rear and it was almost exactly 2" higher in the back. the 2" turned out perfect on my truck and I couldn't be happier. My tire's stick out of the fenders a way's too so it made it pretty easy to just set the tape on the tire lol. I went with Daystar not sure if they make anything for your truck or not but just go to their website and check it out.

I knew cause I ordered some for mine haha. I even called them to make sure that it actually lifts the truck. I will be using the 5100s on the lowest level the .64" with my 2" spacer. This will give me close to 3" lift in the front. I also have a 2" block in the rear so I will be getting a more leveld look

Ya I wish I had another inch or so because these tires rub on the inner fender well sometimes at full lock and I go over a bump or incline at the same time like some speed bumps. It doesn't hurt anything but it's annoying and it seems to be worse on the drivers side which is weird lol.
