Default 2010 1500 4x4 level kit, wheels and tires questions

I just bought a 2010 1500 ST quad cab 4x4. I was thinking of using the topguncustomz 2.5" level, which also gives u .75" in the rear. Once this is complete I want to purchase Mickey Thompson 18" classic II rims and have no idea what tire will fit, I was thinking 33" or so. Does anyone have any advice on this??

There is a thread on here stating the problems of leveling the 09/10 rams. Check it out:

i have the topguncustomz 2 1/2" lift but has no lift for the rear?
are you buying a seperate lift for the rear? mine still does not sit totally level which is good because you haul something your front end isnt up in the air!
33-12.50-18 will fit fine or a 305-65-18 which is a 33.5" tire
good luck and post some pics!!!

So, i went back and checked the topguncustomz website and it has both the 2.5" front and .75" rear as a whole package for around $120. I also went and talked to the local 4x4 shop and they have done a bunch of the 2.5" inch lifts and havent heard of a singe problem yet. Although i am not sure they would tell me if they had. Final decision is to just do it get the 33" FC II's and leave the stock rims...my neighbor does powdercoating and said he would do mine if i wanted. I will get pics soon. thanks for the words of advice.

I take it you don't have a hemi . If not just watch how big of a tire you go with . Remember you only have a 4.7 liter .

I would be really interested in pics of this setup if you get the chance. I've been pondering a wheel tire setup for some time and Mickey Thompson 33's is kinda where I'm leaning at the moment...which I'm sure is going to change again tomorrow.
