Default Rear Diff fluid ??

Im sure its been here a hundred times, so pardon me, I suck at finding even simple things with the search function.
My question is what is recomended for the rear diff on a fluid change buy the majority of you all here.I have a 98 2 wheel 318, and the rear end was new in OCT, I bought the truck a month ago.I have noticed the rear diff seal is seaping some fluid and wanna take care of it this week at work. Most likely be doing the water pump to while Im in a fixin mood, its starting to sqeek all the time.
Thanks in advance.

If you mean good fluid to use, I only use Mopar fluids in my truck (for the most part). If you can spend tons of money, I hear many good things about Royal Purple.

Might want to try and spray the fan belt first and see if the noise stops for a bit . Don't hear water pumps make a squeeking sound . They will get a bearing growling type sound .

if you have a limited slip (posi) differential. Make sure to add the limited slip additive. Without it, it won't last long.
