There is no ECM in your truck - they're only in models with the 5.9 CTD. Your truck has a PCM which is located in the engine compartment.

If you want to go after this yourself, you'll need a DVOM a jumper wire and and a light capable of drawing a couple of amps to load test the wiring. Each circuit will have to be checked for a short to ground, short to power, shorted together, open circuit and load tested. You'll also need to closely check all the pin connections for corrosion, damage or looseness. If the wiring checks out you're probably looking at a bad PCM.

whoever had the truck before me had it wired incorrectly now we have it wired correctly and the computer reads it blew two codes #1 P0720 and #2 P0601 1st one says output speed sensor which we have replaced cleared computer now only blows 2nd code which book says internal control module memory check sum error 53 so does this mean have to replace whole pcm or is it servicable? thank you for all your help
p.s. speedo still not working properly

A P0601 is a one step diagnostic. If the code is present, the PCM must be replaced.
