im not sure if those are the b.v. heads you specified but nonetheless those heads should increase power quite abit..

ya because ported heads should make a difference in power good difference right? how hard is it to put in? do you think that the valve body is a good investment? i mean there only 325 dollars. also how hard that to be install? like if i put gears converter pulleys and tq converter how much pain to put them in? thanks its alot question but thanks again

no problem Mike...that's what forums are all about..I knew nothing about diggin into vehicles til I got my truck..just oil an coolant changes an brakes.. after i got my truck i was all over forums seein what others have done to their trucks and readin how to's.. now I've learned how to rip into our hemi's and have done over 25 cam/head installs. Valve body's aren't too hard to change..but can be messy if you don't watch what you're doin, tq vertors are time consuming to change, especially if you don't have the right tools (tranny jack is a must)... i haven't done gears cuz I don't know about the shimming stuff and adjustments needed to do it right. pulleys are easy to do...

in terms of how hard or easy it is to change stuff... the easiest to change are any of the pulleys, followed by the vb, then tq vertor, then heads...

also what is the difference between the 5.7L Inertia Performance Cylinder Heads and the SharaDon Performance SP-1 5.7 Hemi Ported Cylinder Heads the interia are more. i cant see the spec
also are you on spray??

no spray here..I'd potentially be pushin 11's with spray...I love how she perfoms now on a daily basis (especially with over 180k miles). I love rollin up at almost every stoplight knowin i could take alot of different cars an trucks... i'm not sure of the difference between the 2 heads but I do know they both perform very well.. yes, all good investments, the only experience i don't have is with the shradon vb but I do know guys that have it and love it... altho 1 of them jacked up his tranny but we're not sure if the vb was the cause...

does Inertia make valve body? OK so its just for smoother shifting i mean for 325 dollars i buy it put to the side. but the most power s from the ported heads what the difference is there like a huge difference because i reading them and they don't say really what they upgrade i was looking at 5.7L PREMIUM Big Valve Cylinder Heads but dam 2 grand ehh. finally i bought krc210x cams. can i let them sit downstairs for a while till i get more money because i want to put all parts in at once. its not bad like it wont mess anything up leave them for like a month or two or more?

no..it's not for smoother shifting.. it'll shift so hard you'd think you broke something..hehe..as for cams...I let my 6.1 cam sit for almost a year before i put it in..just make sure you keep it lubed while stored..

Biggest gain for the money will be the gear change. That's almost always a guarantee. Next on these motors (based on the specs...I'm an old sbf guy) is going to be a cam. Headers too before heads. These stock heads flow as good or better than the aftermarket race stuff I had for sbf's. I'd be willing to bet there's more to pick up w/ a decent cam (flycut the pistons for clearance if you have to or refresh the short block and replace the pistons) and a tune than paying someone for ported stock heads. Do a simple tootsie roll cleanup on the heads.

Just an opinion based on years of wrenching on stock iron heads camming those stock heads, porting said heads, recamming the combo, new aftermarket heads, recamming THAT combo, blah blah blah.

Freddie...argueably you're not makin' a hell of a lot more power than that cammed combo I listed in the Hot Rod article and that was stock heads. I think you may be doin' it w/ a bit less cam though too.
