I have one.......don't care for it much. I still prefer a chamois to dry.

I have one. It's OK. I use it for large areas like the hood and door panels. It doesn't conform to the contours of the body as well as I was expecting but that's probably because I don't push as hard as I could. I use it with my right hand and follow immediately behind it with the Absorber to catch the misses. I only have to wring the Absorber out once or twice per wash now as opposed to 4-5 times before (without the Blade). It's good for knocking most of the large quantities of water off (esp. the horizontal surfaces) but I wouldn't claim you could throw away the chamois or anything.

Another thing is if it hits something it flings water all over, then you have to blade it again.

It isn't like the infomercial, that's for sure.

I've used a similar one at work for the big trucks and it works good on things that are flat like windows. I wouldn't use it on my personal truck though.

I personally wouldn't use it because of the chancd you could put fine scratches in your paint. All you need is to catch a piece on contamination and you'll be scratching the surface of your truck all the way down. If you have one or want one, I'd just use it on windows and windshields. Just my $.02 though.
