It is easy.just a lil finess and patience . If ur not happy w ur seat I really recommend doing this. My seat was so bad that I even had back pain everytime I would drive. Not anymore. The only thing I would do now is to make edges a little rounder just for estetics

sweet job, my truck has no steps so the drivers seat edge is wore out from sliding in and out, i think ill have to try this out on a free Saturday.

Nice job. I'm thinking of tackling mine. Don't like it at all. I'm not so worried about sliding over, but I'd like to add some to the rear of the seat. I find the front edge of the seat cuts into my legs on long trips. Also, I like to sit up straight and it isn't comfortable with the amount of rear slope on these puppies.

You've done an excellent and neat job, but you might have a few problems down the line with the seat cushion again.
Cntryby from the Dodge Diesel Forum had this thread
