Default Alignment after leveling kit?

Hey guys, this isn't really RAM specific, but since I'm a proud new owner of one I thought I'd ask here.

I had a leveling kit put in my '10 1500 SLT which I have never had done to a vehicle before, I love the look of it, but I'm wondering if I need an alignment done now? I took it to a guy who works at a shop but did it from home on the weekend (friend of a friend) who did the friend's at the same time.. when he was done he said it looked ok and I shouldn't need one, but my brother keeps telling me you should *always* get one done when you have a kit installed..

comments or suggestions would be welcome, I figured you guys would know definitively

You should have it done because the angles have changed. Caster at the very least will be affected. Unless this guys eyes are calibrated to the hundredth of an inch, he can't possibly tell if it's ok.

Yep, you have to have the alignment done. I didn't think I needed one after installing my kit on my old truck until after a few months and I could start seeing the odd wearing on my tires.
