Default heater/ac wont blow much air

I have a 06 1500 quadcab and I have noticed when i turn on the heat/ac it dont seem to blow much out any of my vents, high feels like low sompared to other trucks. It sounds like its blowing hard but not much comes out. I heard there is a in cab filter is this correct? and how do i get to it? or is there something else?

You've probably got a broken blend, mode, or recirc door.

did you ever get this fixed?. I am having the exact same issue!.

my truck normally has AMAZING heat and blows hard. but today i heard a "thud" in the dash some where and lost about 90% of my air flow. all my controls still work, I can switch from defrost to vents to floor still, I can change the temp from hot to cold still, my blower motor speeds all work still and I can hear it is blowing hard. and I can feel it still has good heat. it just lost its air flow. Almost as if a flap had dropped somewhere and is blocking the air flow to the ducting.

anyone know what specifically my problem is?
