Default 1500 crew cab and fifth wheel hitch

well the mystery is solved. Got my bracket kit for my dsp hitch with front to back rails last week and installed them this weekend. the hitch fits perfectly and as long as the pin box on your trailer is long enough there is absolutely no problems what so ever for pulling. my turning radius is a little smaller than with my old quad cab but that's what a sliding hitch is for i guess. just thought i would share for anybody else wondering about this like i have been since i got my truck. and here's some pics for everyone.

Looks good. I had a tough time getting mine sorted out. My old (bought new in 2008) Hijacker hitch wasn't compatable with the 2010 ram due to the coil spring suspension. Had to buy another new one. Can't wait to start using my 5'er.

i know what you mean i can't wait to get out too. I've been scared since i bought the truck cuz everyone other than the salesman told me i'd have to get a different hitch for the same reasons so you can imagine my relief when i found out that dsp had come out with a bracket kit for it, so much cheaper than a whole new hitch.

I have installed a Pullrite Superglide 18k into my 2010 3500. Have not pulled with it yet as there are several feet of snow on the ground.

Default 12K superglide by pullrite

I own a 09 1500 with a quad cab not crew. I just recvied my 5er hitch by pullrite superglide. I hope to install it Monday and Tuesday. Any pointers? I'm concerned as this is my 1st 5er always had TT. Saw a 09 1500 towing a 5er it seemed to handle it well no squat at all with a regular hitch. The 5er weights 7k with a 1300 hitch lbs. i have airbags and also thinking of changing the bumpers on the axle. I welcome input.
