just got done with the tailgate...started off with goo gone but its just wasnt potent enough. so i went and got a can of the aerosol 3M Adhesive Cleaner. Got it from O'reillys Auto Parts if anybody has an O'Riellys where you live. the spray can works very good and was $11.98. the bigger can of the same product was $15. But the Aerosol should be enough to do my whole truck.

Tailgate took about and hour and i have barely visible tan lines. any input on what type of wax or rubbing compound i should use? and ill get pics of the truck completely debadged next week. hopefully my new 24's will be here next week to so i can give you guys the "GOOD" pics.

but yeah goo gone is not potent enough. i highly recommend the 3M Adhsive Remover. It worked great!!!

and cuda71 in my opinion with your truck being an 08 i really wouldnt expect tan lines on yours. mines an 04 and my lines are barely visible right now. if there are tan lines, just hit it with some wax or rubbing compund. ill get my pics up probably sunday of the tailgate and doors and let u see the just debadged and waxed look so u can decide for yourself if you want to do it.

Congrats man! I agree, the 3M Adhesive Remover is really nice. I don't know if any wax compound will perform better than the other. If you want to know what I used, I used Mothers Carnauba Wax
