Default exhaust question

don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but i just bought a 01 1500 5.9L and am new to trucks. looking for the best sounding exhaust out there without having to add glass packs. i've heard flowmaster is the way to go, and insight is appreciated.

Go to YouTube and look for dodge 5.9 and whatever exhaust you want to hear. There are a blue billion sound clips you can listen to that will help you decide what to get. Flowmaster and Magnaflow seem to be the two most popular among forum members.

There is a video on youtube of a 4.7L dodge ram 1500 with a Powerstick muffler. I know its not the 5.9L but it still sounds really good, if your looking for a single chamber muffler. Flomaster super 44's are also real good.

I don't have exhaust done on mine YET, but in the past - Magnaflow sounds really 'clean' and mean.

The loudest would be the flowmaster serious 10, its a single chamber muffler, then after that it would be the super 44 or the super 40. I have a super 44 going on my truck soon.
