If you don't plan on bashing it offroad, I'd suggest the Laramie. I doubt you'll ever regret the nicer interior, but if you break it offroad, the extra TRX protection pkg is nice. Can't go wrong either way. I know I was debating saving $3k on mine 2wks ago and opted for the nicer one, I love it everyday that I spent the $$ diff. I use my truck, but don't abuse it!

We also built our truck online but when we got to the dealership, they had a Laramie on the lot that matched everything we were looking for but added many of the features we didn't even bother asking for. I guess it is the economy, but we drove off in our new Laramie for less than the 1500 we had built. We will never look back either, this truck is awesome!

Here is how much I love Dodge Rams. My first cousin in St. Louis owns 5 Dealerships (Huge) of nearly every make and model. I am offered 0% always with Family discount. Huge savings. But he doesn't sell Dodge Ram. So I buy locally. I stick with my Ram.

It is fully loaded with the full luxury interion including the front bucket seats, heated seats, heated steering wheel, the navigation, dvd player and sun/moon roof etc. What I had them add before delivery was the bedliner, and tubular chrome side steps, chrome side molding and chrome gas cap. I am also adding this week the chrome bug shield, bed extender and mud flaps. I am also thinking about the slide out step up to the bed.

More than anything I am just glad to have it and its made in the USA! I know all of the Ram owners have a sense of pride no matter the year and I am no different. I was as proud of my 1998 I kept for 10 years.

I am glad to be here with my fellow Ram owners and hope to join in on some awesome discussions.
