Talking Pics of lift, new wheels, new tires

Well it is finally done. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 2WD. The process to figure out was a pain, but I got it right! This thing is awesome now!

If anyone else with a 2WD is trying to level a 2WD 1500, please read this first. Here is what I went with:

Truxx 2" level lift-front coil spring spacers-metal-go on top of spring in stock bucket.

Bilstein HD shocks all around-fronts are for the 2500/2500 trucks-they are the required 2" longer ones that you need on this setup-rears are the 1500 2WD ones-the 5100's do not fit a 2WD, so please do not buy them.

chrome Moto Metal 951 18X9 wheels (-12mm/4.53" B/S)

Toyo Open Country M/T 33X12.50X18

This combination creates the space you need to run these without ANY rubbing issues at all. The B/S of the wheels and the 33's are a perfect fit, and look amazing. the Toyos are the longest lasting, best wearing all around Mud tires you can get. The Nitto M/T's last about 25-30K miles. These Toyos last about 50K miles, and are better for on/off-road, snow, wet, and ice. the Nitto's are better on just mud, not highway, snow, wet, or ice use.

Check out the pics and let me know what you think. The first pic is of the truck stock. The others are the new lift, tires, wheels, and shocks. The shocks really do make a HUGE difference. Don't lift/level your truck without new shocks. They are an inexpensive improvement you will love.

Very nice! I hope you're happy with the results.

It's no wonder the Nitto Mud Grappler doesn't last as long though, look at the lugs on those suckers! My Nitto Trail Grapplers have a 2K on them so we'll see how long they last since they're an MT but not as aggressive as the Mud Grappler, I expect them to last a little less than the Open Country M/Ts though because the voids seem to be larger.

Thanks guys. Lil Black 4X4, you are right. The A/T's will last much longer. The Nitto M/T's look awesome, and actually cost less. I needed a daily driver tire that I can still have fun with too. I hears the Toyo A/T's last almost 70K. That is crazy for off-road tires.

I've always liked the tread pattern of the Toyo's. Even the sidewall looks mean

The Toyo A/T's are about the least aggressive all terrain ever made too though lol. My dad got stuck in grass haha. I've got the toyo m/t's also and they can really throw some mud!! I'm glad you like the Bilsteins's or you would've been pissed at me for changing your mind about the Rancho's lol.
