I use 87 in mine, no issues. I've got CAI, cat-back exhaust, and a programmer set to economy. Tried using 89 and 93 since some have seen increased mpg's. I could not justify the cost(would take more than a 0.5mpg increase to break even) as I saw no change. As long as you don't have knocks or pings, you should be OK with 87.

I use 89 in mine, plus Lucas oil fuel treatment. 89 is cheaper for me because of the ethanol

Sounds like one needs to figure it out for themselves. If 89 is $.10 more per gallon, I need a 0.5mpg bump to break even on a 25gal fill up.

25gal x .10=$2.50, increase of .05mpg=12.5miles, 12.5miles/14mpg=0.89gal,

0.89gal x $2.79(what I paid yesterday)=$2.48 saved.
