Default CAM

I have an 03 Ram and would like to install a cam. I have heard from several people that a HEMI is very difficult to install a cam in. Is this true? If not, how difficult is it? I appreciate ANY input. Thanks.

I've heard of a way to do it without removing the heads, you just have to pull the rad. I don't know the full story, but I've seen a how-to in one of the Mopar mags I get. Do you know which cam you want? Inertia Motorsports' Spartan cams are a good grind, as are the several CompCams series.

if someone helps you and goes straight forward, no frills, about 4 hours (when we put the timing chain 1 tooth off..lol)...my first install took 12, but thats cuz we had alot of guys come watch and we were bsing...normal installs with breaking for bbqing lunch is about 6 hours..

..add an hour if your doin valve spring swaps too....you wanna pull all the front stuff off too for convenience (radiator, cross memmber)..i've always pulled heads for spring swaps but with the right tools it can be done with heads on, but I like to inspect cylinders on all installs an not fear that I'll drop a keeper..
