DO NOT GET DUALS as long as you have an active MDS System, trust me when that thing shuts off the 4 cylinders it becomes the utmost embarrassing thing you will ever drive. It magnifies the 4 dead cylinders and sounds HORRIBLE!!........It literally sounds like half of your motor is dead, if you have ever heard one of those then you know of what I speak. Get a "Predator Tuner" and shut that worthless MDS off then get aset of FlowMaster 40's with a True Dual setup with dumps, you'll love it!

The 40's series sounds much better because it only has two splitterl baffles installed where as the 50 series even has omnidirectional baffling to quieten it even more.
40's sound great its what most hot rodders use for the street, the only thing louder than the 40's are the FlowMaster 10 series and it is not street legal, track only because it has no baffling what so ever.

But I say again, if one has active MDS don't even bother putting any kind of after market loud exhaust, not unless you like driving down the road in a truck that sounds like you cracked the motor in half not to mention the horrible sputtering sound because that is exactly what the MDS sounds like with after market duals....CRAPOLA!

I talked with a guy that had a $1700.00 Borla exhaust system put on his 2009 6.1 Hemi Challenger, he came back in two weeks to the muffler shop and had them "RIP IT OFF" and put the stock exhaust back on because of the way the MDS sounds with duals. Lets just say he was P I S S E D, even wrote a letter to Dodge about his unhappiness.

There is no MDS on a 6.1L Challenger or Charger. You probably meant on the 5.7.

Am I the only person that actually likes the MDS system? It seems like the only people that don't like it, or hate it, are people that feel they need a truck that wakes the neighbors when they drive by. I have nothing against that and I don't mind a good sounding truck, but I like that I drive 40 highway miles a day and I average 18mpg in 390hp truck.

Drone?...........hahahahahaha more like a truck with bad upset stomach that keeps farting all the time. Oh but also if I had to drive a boat load of miles every day to work a truck would have been the last thing I would have purchased especially one with the goofy worthless MDS system.

Oh one more thing, if I ever get to the point to where I claim 18 mpg is good gas mileage, some one SHOOT ME!

Good gas mileage is 25 mpg and up and as far as I can remember ain't no such truck been invented (sub-compacts don't qualify as trucks) there jokes in my books, might as well bought a Pinto and cut the top off and attach a short bed.

I never knew my 07' had MDS until I joined this site, my gas mileage never reflect's the mpg of a 4 banger..
I also have never noticed an undesirable sound coming from my dual exhaust set up.
