Welcome to the forum! Glad to have you here! Those Toyo's are nice tires, if you want to switch to a 17" rim, you should have no problems.

What tires you go with depends on whether or not you need some traction in mud or snow. If not, a highway tread tire (such as the Toyo A/T) would work fine.

You can get the PCM flashed by the dealer for a change in tire sizes, or use a programmer, but I am wondering whether or not it was ever done when the larger wheels and tires were put on.

You can check this by doing an odometer check. On a fairly level road, that has mile markers, set the cruise at 60 mph and have a stopwatch or watch with a second hand with you. Check to see if you cover the mile in exactly 60 seconds at 60 mph.

I suspect that, with the larger tires, you'll probably be reading around 62 or 63 mph to cover a mile in one minute.

Would you consider the factory chrome 17" from a 2003 quad cab? I have these but want the 20's
