Hey MadDog,

Which model of Weathertechs are those?

It's what I want.

I have the weathertechs that do not extend down past mirror mount and heard they whistle too.

Yours look great.

I was on the site but seen 2 or three that said would fit my truck.

I have the 09 Quad Cad 1500.

And to the guy who don't think he needs these,

Evidently you never opened your window in the winter and had all that snow slide off the roof onto your window controls and fill the door pockets.

Same with rain.

And the Cab stays a lot cooler in the summer sitting in the parking lot waiting for you with the windows cracked, But you can't tell from outside.

Thanks in advance,

Great Posts guys.

I guess that I'm the odd man out. I've got the EGR in channels. They were easy to install (all four in under 15 minutes). I've had the WeatherTech in the past, but found them to be of at least equal quality to other brands that I've tried for more $$$$.

I've used another brand in the past too, just can't remember what it is. I wasn't as happy with it, as on my Expedition the rears didn't fit as snuggly as they should've and had to use double sided tape to help secure (more so than was included with the kit) and they ended up getting snagged on the window and breaking anyway...... I wish I could remember what the name brand was...

I went to a local place here to look at the weatertechs and he told me putco also
made some that look just like the weathertech but less expensive. he brought a set
out of the back for me to look at and they do fit and look just like the weathertech. seemed to be durable as well he bended them in all different directions plus they have a lifetime waranty. I havent gotten them yet as i decided to get get my magnaflow first but they will be comming next. Here they quoted $130 for the weathertech and $70 for the putco, thats for the crewcab. You may want to check em out.

I have been to the Weathertech site 3 or 4 times and for my year truck they had 2 or three types that say they are for my truck, But it's not clear for the Quad Cab. So I decided to write them and request which model I should purchase.

This is the response I got.

The EGRs that I got from AutoAnything go down past the mirror post too....

Not sure of the exact price, but they're not too difficult to find

I think your problem is that this in NOT the Weathertech website. They have nothing to so with Autopartswarehouse. I bought them direct and have a Quad cab. There are only 2 options to choose from. Dark or light color guards. Well, I guess 5 if you count that you can buy the fronts and rears separately in addition to the full set.

Well TopGun, I see you are right.

I remembered when I bought the Digital Floor Mats that they reply was from some other company. I see now it's MacNeil Auto.

So I didn't think anything of it when I got the reply from that other company.

I have since ordered the PUTCO brand of Deflectors.

They are identical to the WeatherTech according to many reports.

Anyway, I am sure I'll be happy with them, And the price was really cheap.

Like $53. Delivered to the house.

I will post how I like the install when I get them mounted.
