Default Engine noise?

Especially when I first start it up and it hasn't warmed up, my 2010 Hemi motor produces a rattle/clicking sound something stuck lifters produce. The noise is faintly audible when the motor is warmed up.
Does anyone else's Hemi produce such a noise? If not, should I take it to the dealer? I have less than 400 kilometres on the truck (about 240 miles).

I would recommend taking it to a dealer anyways since it is under warranty. They will replace parts for free so why not haha.

I never had any noise coming from my motor but it is an 07 your is a little different. I have heard people putting synthetic motor oil in and loosing any engine noise. You have a brand new truck so I would not worry about that.

Have you been working it in properly? Or have you just been hitting the gas hard haha?

A little ticking is normal prior to being warm. But if it continues after the engine is warm I'd be headed to the dealer for some warranty service.

A little tick can be attributed to the famous 'hemi tick' but if it's loud, then I'd have it in to be looked at as well.

Check this thread for a possible solution. It generally applies to the '09 models but could very well be an issue with some '10 models as well. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=48427

Default 2009 Engine Noise

Same issue, sounds like a dry valve train on the left side. Keeps getting worse, I will get it in to the shop this week.
