Sorry the pics aren't that good. I didn't take them until tonight.
the American Racing Header setup eventually to fix that and do headers/cats with the same setup but if they Y replacement is "seat of the pants" noticeable I may defer the $1600 option for a while.

parts and labor were only $60 and sorry to say I don't think it was a "seat of the pants" difference. Maybe a small difference but prob not what you are looking for. I know it'll be a supporting mod as I continue to add them.

Like source and whether the shop had to build mani-to-Y pipes on yours?

I went to one place this weekend and they recommended the flowmaster 50 series. They said it would be the cost of the kit I choose + $125.00 in labor. I asked about just doing the muffler and they said it would be almost as much as what the kit cost because they would have to get adapters. This sounds like a bunch of poo to me, just seems high. But I really can't say that is for sure till I get something to compare it too. I am hitting 2 more places tomorrow. Here is a flowmaster clip I like the sound of on Youtube, for some reason though I am stuck on the Magnaflow. They did recommend Borla, and Corsa but said I'd be at least a grand for one of those.

we did a small gtg yesterday at a muffler shop yesterday..3 guys had muffler swaps...the mufflers they pulled out?..all flowmasters, they installed magnaflows..they are totally thrilled with the performance gain and sound with mags...all they complained about the flows was that it was too loud in the cab and that the sound sucked when mds kicked in (on the 06)

There is some really nice exhaust out there!! Chefred by far i like yours the best
Maddog you got really nice tips too!

I have a flowmaster SI/DO with rolled stainless tips, i think it is a flowmaster super 44, only from clips on youtube as it was already isntalled when i bought the truck! i find it sounds awesome especially under hard acceleration! i dont find it that loud in the cab either but i dont mind it either....

Is there really that noticable difference in a magnaflow compared to a flowmaster?
