Wow, I can only imagine what you'd say if you 'had more time'

Thanks a whole bunch man. I knew about the chemical interactions as I took aerospace engineering, however, putting theory into practical application is always the hard part. I appreciate the tips on the 'need' equipment, I'm an industrial safety officer now... gotta be safe when I speed I asked about water/meth as I'm a diesel guy at heart and W/M injection is a must for a high HP cummins motor and wondered if it carried over to manage EGTs.

I wouldn't run the system in winter, for the given reasons, but just wonder what kind of contraction I could get on the lines if I did leave them hooked up. I'd probably just leave it disconnected and capped. But in the summer they'd be hooked up, just so I could use it 'for passing' as I don't get much track time. I'd probably be running a 75-100 shot, and is it possible/or a good idea to have a duration limiter valve on the line so it only runs for a certain amount of time then auto shuts off? or is it just better to push the button to switch off?

thats my old truck. it had/has 150 shot of nitrous, ported and polished heads, spartan cam, 2800 stall tq converter, srt-10 axle (with 4.56 gears), hoosier slicks, BFI cold air intake, and long tube headers. and a bunch of other little things. that truck was rear ended on 5-1-10 it will be a total loss after the adjuster looks at it.

there are a ton of factors involved in being 'close' to those times. I never assume that because a truck runs a certain time that I would too. If you did the EXACT identical mods as me (or Chris), then I say maybe. But i think you left out heads in your mod list (this is huge)... and you would prolly hafta get your custom tune from where Chris and me go to (Bob@SVS...not to take anything away from the other guys)... set your goals and start hitting the track...try going frequently enough to see how each new mod performs. And an important key is driver skill as well..no way a novice can drive my truck and get the same time's I get. So, two factors..mod combos and driver experience...

and also something to consider...if you look at the 5 quickest 1/4 mile na qc's... is it a coincidence that 4 outta the 5 are 05's and the fifth is an 06. It's been discussed how the 05 pcm's are the best ones to deal with when it comes to modding and custom tunes (with 03's, some 04's and 07's sittin on the opposite end with more difficulty to tune)
