Sitting at just under 15 MPG, according to gasbuddy.com fuel log book. Like I said, I'm going to "play" around with it for the next half tank then I'll go back to driving my old way. I'm very conservative and have found that a steady 65mph is where I get the best MPG. We'll see what gains I get. I'll keep everyone informed! Thanks again!

Yeah, I can't wait to see what gains I get too! Right now I'm sitting at just under 15 MPG (according to gasbuddy.com fuel log book) I'm going to have fun with the last 1/2 tank of gas I have then go back to my normal driving. I drive very conservatively and have found a steady 65mph gets me the best MPG. We'll see what happens in the next few fill ups! Thanks to everyone for their comments!

Sweet! Glad to see it was the system you hoped for. Don't you just love that sound?!?!?! There is definitely something about the growl these intakes make.

It does sound mean! I thought it was just the sound inside the cab, but I had my friend drive it while I drove his car and pulled up next to it when he opened it up, it's LOUD outside too! LOL. I still thinking on how to add that air scoop. The mfg one says to put it where the fog light is, well, my truck has the actual light there so that's a no go. Been looking at some different types of piping and tubing, I'll let you know what I come up with. The OD is 4" so that makes it a bit difficult. We'll see.

Ive been running the new intake on my truck for almost 2 weeks now and aside from the awesome growl it has now, its missing... More like begging... For a programmer/chip. Its up and coming as soon as i get my new radio. Its not cool to be riding around with no tunes. I'll keep everyone posted once i do get a hold of a good programmer. Any advice on which chip is the best bang for your buck, most hp? Ive looked at the jet chip, does it really give the gains it claims?
