for those that did the long tube headers did you have in issues with the truck running lean?

Yes Long Tubes will fit on a 4X4. We sell a set of Dynatech Supermaxx Full Length Headers.

Shorties are better for top end gains. Longtubes better for tq boost. Where the shorties get the bad talk is that the primary tubes are usually smaller than ideal and limit power.

For the Hemi...I think you'd want a 1 3/4" primary minimum and that might be harder to find in a shorty. Plus...where are you going to spend most of your time in the rpm range?

Hey i was wondering do you know if putting headers on a hemi with mds will cause any issues??? i have a 2008 Dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7L hemi.........do you have any applications to fit??

I know with the Predator on the Hemi cars, you can turn MDS off. I'm pretty sure you should be able to turn it off with a programmer. If you get headers, it wont do anything to your MDS still functions as a regular vehicle. Are you looking for a shorty header or Long tubes?

so what are the best headers to get? those bbk ones say for 2wd only. and i checkout that speedex site the have a huge selection of headers but they all say for 1500 models only, arnt the hemis the same in the 2500s? is there less room in the 2500 engine compartment?

Found a set from one of our suppliers, Edelbrock Shorty Headers. They are $539.88. Here's a part number for you Edelbrock 65692.
