Moparmike07, yep, clamped right to the TB.

Customshirts, Dodge sells a "bumper to bumper" OEM warranty (like the 3yr-36k mi) for $2300, but it has a $100 deductable (per visit, not item). They will even finance it for 12mo at 0%. I def. plan on that for my 2010. They will pro rate it too, up to 100k (ie, if you sell truck at 50k, they will give you $1150 back).

So that would extend the new warranty to 6 years bumper to bumper right?

Hey Billy, If I install mopar prior to taking delivery of my truck they grandfather it into the warranty... which is pretty cool. So A quick question regarding your exhaust. Do you have a sound file or video with sound to hear what yours sounds like?

Or let me know exactly what you got so I can try to research it on my own.

Any help you can provide would be great!!

Thanx

I'm looking to replace my stock intake as well, I've heard and read very good things about the BFI, cost isn't an issue for me.

My question is, what exactly qualifies as a cold air intake? does it have to have ports directly in front of the grill or bumper or does the BFI qualify as a CAI because of its filter placement near the front of an engine?

Also, I looked on Airflow Innovations website, and idk what its called, but does the BFI come with a "shield" or w/e?

I'm talking about that black plastic that surrounds some intakes such as K&N ones I see all the time seen on this picture:

I also would like to know if this shield that keeps the hot air out is in any way advantageous even for a huge intake like the BFI.

Any help would be awesome! thanks!

ok this is the thing. i was going get the bfi but i heard take a LONG time sometimes to get it. I say the top 2 are the bfi and the varram intake are the two best. DONT NOT BUY A DUAL AIR INTAKE FOR DODGE RAM I HAD IT TO TEST IT IT SUCKS!!

Thanks for the info, I don't really mind the wait, but I got a big camping trip coming up and I would kinda like it before then, but if I want the BFI it looks like thats not happening, o well.

Anyways, my other question was does the BFI qualify as a CAI? I believe it does, but I was just wondering the GENERAL qualifications for a CAI, rather than it just being a normal air intake.

thanks!
