I will say this everybody knows when I fire this engine up in the morning or when I come home, they know who it is. Wife says she can hear me a half a block away before I pull up! I love it!
Nieghbors, wife, kids even my dog knows the sound of my truck coming a block away hahahaha and just to make sure they know its me I drop down to first gear as I approach my driveway that backpressure sounds AWSOME!!!!!

Paul89 is on a distinguished road

Been over 2 years since my last post. So you bring to current. Last spring I was able to do a rolling dyno test to some degree. Did 5 runs on the road and was able to pull a good 14.7 in the quarter with 5.6 from zero to sixty. All five run numbers where different but all were below 15 second and 6.0 sec. I choose the most believable numbers I felt comfortable with. Horse power reading were everyway on the chart so I couldn't really feel confident giving those out. So I went out again during this past summer to do another testing. On the first run it was sound good then BOOM, the engine RPMs shot up....transmission disengaged for some reason. Transmission re-engaged so I tried one more time and had the same problem. I change out the governor solenoid and adjusted the bands on the 46re. Went out again the following week. Same issue again. Funny, just driving around in town and on the highway I have no problems. Until I put my foot into it. Running out of time to trouble shoot for I needed to move on to other priorities...namely body work.

Able to complete changing out rusted tailgate, doors, etc this summer/fall and I should be getting it back next week or so. Then I will address the transmission problem and start over. Also will post pics of my new truck! Been a long road but its all coming together......
