You must have a special truck. Mine was built in Mexico (I believe they all are) and I definitely do not have a 3rd speaker location behind the seats. I have a left and right rear cab speaker and that is all.

Please take some pics and post them because I would like to see what it looks like and where it is at.

If there is a 3rd speaker location behind seats, would'nt that make it 8 speakers ? There is on the back cab panel, a vertical rectangular box with an opening in the top
it is about 4 to 5 inches wide. Is that what you are looking at GORILLAVETTE?
I was wondering what that was anyway. Looks like a rag holder or something LOL.
I inspected it when I first bought truck thinking it was a sub, but no sound coming from there.
Then I thought, it may be to circulate the air, but there is no air moving there either.
Does any body know what it is ?

Guys I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps Pedro had an extra sub laying around. I will see what I can do about pics.

Joel.......................perhaps you should read my post more carefully! Try again and then count up the speakers I say I have.

That vertical indention in the back cab is where the middle seat belt goes. Since we have center consoles, no need for the center belt.

Just a note on the wattage you read. 506w divided by 6 speakers = 84.33w peak power divide by 70.7% you get RMS = 59.62w per channel thats not much considering the average person is not going to know the difference between added peak and true RMS they can make it sound better then it is like all low-fi audio manufacturers do with thier equipment.

2011 Black RT canada west coast.

just read the post above and if the alpine system info is corect then 7 speakers so even less power then i posted above granted more then enough for the inside of a pickup truck

It's not difficult at all in our trucks, tons of space behind the rear seats. I'm adding a 15" subwoofer and 4 cu.ft. of enclosure.
