Since your truck is the ST version, it didn't come with RKE but you can certainly have an aftermarket unit installed. If you'd like a copy of your build sheet, I'll need your e-mail address.

Hello,

I was in the same boat this past Friday. Picked up a ST and realized no remote - just 4 sets of keys.. Had aftermarket-remote alarm installed the next day.

I'm curious as to the advantages of the stock system being added, the cost mainly. Maybe aftermarket is where I need to head as well. Dissapointing when you sign and they rebutt they ever said it would come with such.

Yours is an ST they don't come factory with keyless..There is not a way to add keyless as far as chrysler is concerned but we where able to activate keyless by adding a factory remote start to an ST truck it was a 2010 have not tried this on a 2009 you have to add more codes than it says to make it work......

Funny how a truck rolls down the same assembly line, gets the same wiring harness, and a different trim level makes it impossible to get parts for.

I had an '02 SL that I put an aftermarket (everything) alarm in and added actuators to the manual door locks. It worked great. I never had any issues with that setup. It cost me about 150 for everything, but I did the work myself. Installed actuators at my dad's shop and the alarm in the driveway.

Keyless is a must. My '09 is an SLT with remote and keyless and I love it! Get 'er done!!!
