Default Copper core plugs vs. Platinum core plugs

I currently have Platinum core spark plugs in my 5.9 gas Ram. I have heard that the 5.9's like the copper core plugs better. So I am wondering if I switch to copper core plugs will my MPG's go up? I am currently getting around 15 MPG with mainly highway driving.

15 sounds about right. That's what I'm getting on the highway with exhaust, CAI and programmer. I take it easy most of the time too. I wouldn't expect to much of a bump. Any other mods?

Nice, wanna get some fogs for mine. Also thinking about adding some shortie headers. I can post if I get a bump in MPG from that.

The only advantage of copper plugs is if you run nitrous. They are less prone to fouling if you hit them with a rich mixture. Other than that, go for the platinums. Part of the problem that's causing bad mileage, ethanol in the gas. My hemi used to get 18 mpg if you drove easy, now 16.5 is about it. Pay more, get less. Government helping us out some more.
